Bill of Rights Day is December 15^th.  The Bill of Rights Symposium, offered in mid-December, is a professional development opportunity to help increase teachers’ knowledge of the Bill of Rights, and of Bill of Rights content in the Minnesota Civics and Government Standards.

·        In depth discussion of a theme is presented by a visiting scholar.

·        Important Supreme Court cases relating to the theme are presented.

·        Teachers can build a collection of lessons and teaching materials, including powerpoints, to better help your students understand the content about the Bill of Rights.

·        Offers the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with Minnesota teachers.
